As you remember we wrote that Turkey had a record year
at end of 2001, both tourist figures and revenues, in our March issue.

We also added this positive trenwill continue in 2002.
Now, we have some results. Turkish Ministry announced that Turkey hosted 3.551.000 visitors untill end of May. This figure is 3.6 % higer than first 5 months of 2001.
And do not forget that tourist arrivals increasing after June
15 in Turkey.

Begining of this year our target was 12.5 million tourist in 2002. But now we can easly say that Turkey will host some 13-14 millon visitors untill end of December.

In this issue we introduce you a destination in north part of Turkey. Trabzon is one of the important city in Black Sea coast with her deeply history and rich touristical sites. We hope you will like this pages.

ATM Dubai and Pow Wow New Orleans exhibition reports are also our another interesting pages. TIA's President William S. Norman says tourism is growing again after September 11.

He remarked in Pow Wow "All signals that buyers and suppliers are serious about investing in international travel."
We also beleive that tourism will be better than 2001 at the end of this year.

Our "Airlines Special" has more airline news in this issue. Airlines had big difficulties after September 11. But they are also going to better conditions.
New agreements ,new investments... will help to airline business.
